Choose the correct bottom bracket
Identify your frame’s bottom bracket shell type, measure its full width and confirm your crank spindle diameter before selecting a model. The guide lists BSA threaded combinations by shell width and spindle diameter, with separate road and MTB configurations for 68mm shells.
Configuration-specific spacing
Spacer requirements vary with shell width, spindle diameter and intended crank configuration. Some 24mm configurations allow an E-type derailleur bracket as part of the drive-side spacing arrangement.
Check crank axle length
