A one-piece, two-piston brake for downcountry and XC riding.

Refined lever control

The increased lever hook helps keep your finger secure during aggressive riding. Revised dimples improve comfort under hard braking while retaining grip in all weather conditions. A new cam reduces free lever travel without sacrificing feel or modulation in the braking zone.

Smooth operation and simpler bleeding

The master cylinder uses a roller-bearing main pivot and two guide bushes to keep the piston moving smoothly and straight. An added bleed port allows the brake to be bled without removing the reservoir lid.

One-piece X2 caliper

The rigid, CNC-machined one-piece caliper uses two pistons for lighter-duty downcountry and XC applications. Hybrid-style pistons promote smoother movement and reduced maintenance, while a phenolic insert helps manage heat transfer during extreme use. The X2 is available in flatmount or postmount versions.

Finish and hose options

The complete brake is offered in black or silver with seven colour accent options. Choose a black hose or braided hose version.
