Improved sealing and reduced drag
Revised sealing helps keep dirt out while reducing drag. The new labyrinth seal adds zero drag for improved freewheeling performance.
Quicker engagement and stronger pawls
An offset six-pawl freehub increases engagement from 44 to 108 points. The redesigned pawls and springs improve longevity and load capacity while reducing drag, with pawls wire-cut from high-strength steel.
Stiffer axle and hub body
A new step-down axle design provides a stiffer, more durable freehub. The revised hub body profile also increases stiffness without adding weight.
Adaptable fitment
Easily interchangeable end spacers let the hub accommodate different frame and axle standards. Hope offers all modern freehub bodies, plus a choice of 6-bolt or Centrelock disc fitting.
Straightforward servicing
The Pro 5 is fully serviceable and rebuildable using simple tools. Hope provides exploded diagrams, a service-tool document and a hub-servicing video.
E-bike-specific option
The Pro 5 range includes an e-bike-specific hub. This version is designed for the demands of e-bikes.
