Compact design for drop bar bikes
The RX2 is a compact, two-piston version of Hope’s RX4+ road and gravel caliper, offering similar power. Its smaller footprint is designed for restricted rear frame clearances, particularly on smaller bikes.
One-piece machined construction
The caliper is machined in one piece to increase stiffness and reduce weight. This construction also improves brake feel and power, with a stated weight of 94g including pads.
Easier, cleaner bleeding
A new bleed nipple design makes bleeding easier and cleaner. A dedicated bleed syringe is available separately, and Hope provides bleeding guidance for the RX calipers.
Flat mount fitment and fluid options
The RX2 uses the Flat Mount Standard and works with Hope’s X, Y and Z brackets. Separate mineral oil and DOT versions cater for the compatible Shimano, Campagnolo and SRAM models listed by Hope.
