Stiff monobloc construction
The precision CNC-machined monobloc body increases caliper stiffness to improve feel and modulation. This design helps reduce vague lever feel and brake pad rub, while retaining a slimline, lightweight four-piston layout.
Improved frame clearance
A revised bore cap reduces the overall width of the caliper for better frame compatibility. The RX4+ SL range includes Post Mount and Flat Mount options, with designs intended for 140, 160 and 180mm rotors.
Simpler servicing
The redesigned bleed nipple makes bleeding easier and cleaner. Pads fit from the top of the caliper, and a specific bleed syringe is available separately.
Dropbar brake system compatibility
Separate mineral oil and DOT versions cater for compatible dropbar brake systems. The page lists Shimano and Campagnolo systems for mineral oil calipers, and SRAM systems for DOT calipers.
