Versatility with race pedigree
The ARID Carbon combines a race-inspired design with comfortable construction and relaxed geometry for long days on varied terrain. The platform has been tested at events including The Traka, Unbound and Badlands, balancing speed with adventure capability.
Wide-range mullet drivetrain
Drop-bar shifting is paired with a mountain bike cassette to provide a broad gear range for demanding gravel riding. This S GRX build uses a Shimano GRX 12-speed rear derailleur, a 40T chainring and a 10-51 Shimano SLX cassette for steep climbs and faster stretches.
Refined Stealth Air Carbon fork
The updated carbon fork removes the side mounts for a cleaner profile and a weight saving of around 20 grams. Additional vertical compliance helps improve ride feel over long hours in the saddle.
Clearance for wider tyres
The ARID Carbon accepts tyres up to 50mm wide without workarounds. This gives riders scope to fit wider rubber for muddy courses, rocky tracks and rougher gravel routes.
Size-specific cockpit
Handlebar width is matched to frame size: 400mm for S, 420mm for M and M/L, 440mm for L and 460mm for XL. This approach is designed to provide a more natural riding position, precise handling and less arm and shoulder fatigue on longer rides.
Improved integrated storage
The in-frame storage compartment has been redesigned for easier access and smoother bag removal. It provides a convenient place to carry tools, nutrition and other riding essentials.
Distinctive colour identities
The ARID range's finishes are developed by Blue Lab, Mondraker's in-house colour and materials department. Each finish is designed to have its own character, from the contrast of Silverflash to the shifting appearance of Atmos.
